The hillside had some letters carved into it: LOOK OUT, they said. I became instantly paranoid and kept looking over my shoulder.
The next morning a little plane buzzed across the sky near my bedroom window. It had one of those message banners trailing behind it. It read: STAY IN. I pulled the covers over my head.
The road was dimly lit. I came to the turning, there was writing on the road.
